Meet Amada and Victoria from our Mexico facility
Tell us about your current role and responsibilities
Amada: As a leader in dry production, my responsibility is to ensure that all team members work collaboratively towards a shared goal. My duty is to foster a cohesive work environment where everyone is aligned and focused on achieving the same objective. This requires me to effectively facilitate communication and cooperation among team members, while also providing guidance and support as needed.
Victoria: As a leader in wet production, my main responsibility is to assign tasks to the team and ensure that everything runs smoothly at all times. It’s crucial that we maintain a 100% success rate, and I take pride in leading my team to achieve this goal.
What satisfies you most about working at Clear Edge?
Amada: The work environment and team is what brings me the most joy and satisfaction. I take pride in supporting my team and find satisfaction in knowing that my contributions are making a positive impact on the organization. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Victoria: I appreciate the flexibility of my schedule and the comprehensive benefits, but I also feel supported and valued in the work environment at Clear Edge. The company culture promotes collaboration, innovation, and growth, which aligns with my personal values and career goals.
What are you most proud of about your work at Clear Edge?
Amada: One aspect of my work that I am particularly proud of is the ability to evolve within the company. The position and growth achieved has been a result of the supportive environment at Clear Edge, where I have been given opportunities to take on new challenges and learn from experienced colleagues.
Victoria: I am grateful for the opportunity Clear Edge has given me to lead in wet production. Through this experience, I have grown both personally and professionally, and share my newfound knowledge with my colleagues. It’s been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Has your role evolved since joining the team?
Amada: I started as a general operator and with the support of the company as well as my manager and teammates, I was able to learn and develop. With this support, I have had the opportunity to grow within the company to my current role of Dry Production Lead. I am excited for what the future holds.
What aspects of the company’s mission resonate most with you and why?
Amada: The company’s mission of making the world safer and healthier resonates with me because the filter cloths that we make daily are helping a wide variety of industries to ensure that the products they make can continue to protect the environment.
Why do you like working at Clear Edge?
Amada: I take great pride in being a part of Clear Edge, as it has provided me with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Through my work here, I have been able to indirectly support my family and provide my children with the means to pursue higher education. I am grateful for the support and encouragement that Clear Edge has provided me, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of the organization.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at Clear Edge?
Amada: Approach every day with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. With this attitude you will be provided with the opportunity for growth within the company.
Victoria: My advice would be to take every opportunity that comes your way and keep your focus on the work at hand. Don’t get bogged down by problems, but instead, approach them with a positive attitude and a determination to find solutions. With this mindset, you’ll be well on your way to success at Clear Edge!
Would you share a favorite memory from your time working at Clear Edge?
Amada: Being promoted to a leader position is one of my favorite memories.
How do you spend your time away from work?
Amada: In my leisure time, or after business hours, I like spending quality time with my family. One of my favorite activities is taking my grandson to the park.
Victoria: One of my favorite pastimes is attending convivios with my sisters. These gatherings are always filled with laughter, delicious food, and cherished memories. Additionally, I adore spending quality time with my family.
If you could plan a team building activity in your area, what would you suggest?
Victoria: If I were to organize a team building activity in my area, I would focus on boosting productivity and maintaining the positive teamwork dynamic. After all, working together is key to success!
