Meet Ewelina Studniarek, Seaming Department Leader

Location: Poland
Position: Seaming Department Leader
Years in Clear Edge: 13 Years

Please tell us about your current role and responsibilities?

At Clear Edge, I hold the position of Seaming Department Leader. I am responsible for overseeing the entire fabric finishing process, keeping an eye on quality, organizing work, and recording production-related data.

What do you find most satisfying about working at Clear Edge?

I derive satisfaction from working on fabrics and materials, solving problems, coming up with new designs, understanding the loops by which the fabric is sewn, sharing knowledge and experience with others, and spreading job satisfaction among my team members.

What are you most proud of in your work at Clear Edge?

I am proud of my team, as they continue to grow alongside me.  Their commitment to any task I assign is something I can always rely on.

What do you bring to your team? (Or, what would your colleagues  say about what you bring to the team)?

I bring joy, energy, and a smile to the team every day. I believe my team members find support in me and see me as a positive person. Working with them brings me joy, and I respect and appreciate them. I can sense that they feel the same way. We create a good atmosphere, which makes our team more committed and productive. They are happy to talk about their ideas.

What aspects of the company mission most appeal to you and why?

I find it encouraging to see that my work has an impact on making the world safer, healthier and more productive. Everyone can make a positive impact on the environment.

It’s important that we do something that has a global impact.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out at Clear Edge?

Try to understand your job, then you will like it. First engage your strengths, your heart, your mind , and then judge if this is what you want to do in life.

How has working at Clear Edge helped you develop professionally?

Over the past few years, the company has provided me with many development opportunities, including training in team building, relationship building, HR training, and manufacturing management. Working for many years with friends, with people I value and respect, has made me gain confidence. I feel needed here, professionally fulfilled, and I want to develop further. My development would not have been possible without the support and thoughtful actions of my supervisor, who often initiates training, sets the course, and invests in us and our future.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

I am a person who does not get attached to material things. But I couldn’t live without my family and my friends. I like spending time with them, going out to the theatre, cinema, concerts, no boredom. I love traveling. But I also find time for silence and my personal development, mental, spiritual, me time.

What are you currently watching or reading?

“The 5 am Club” by Robin Sharma. A very inspiring book, there is definitely something for everyone, something for personal, spiritual, and professional development.

A quote that inspires me every day at work is: ” If you think you have everything under control, it means you are going too slow”. šŸ˜€

When it comes to thrillers, I recommend Harlan Coben.
